Retention Tanks

Stormwater containment structure

Retention tanks store rainwater and discharge it into a sewer network

Retention tanks are used to temporarily store large amounts of rainwater and discharge it into an existing sewer network or natural environment. They are indispensable in solving the problems caused by drought and increased rainfalls because of climate change. While paved surfaces cannot absorb and store water, retention tanks can collect and remove it from industrial and residential areas such as parking lots, warehouses, and supermarkets, thereby protecting property from damage whilst contributing positively to the environment. They are made of high strength corrugated steel pipes HelCor, which are light, strong, and durable. Retention tanks have proven to be an economical and eco-friendly solution for stormwater containment.

Features and Benefits

Cost efficient

The pipes for the tanks are exceptionally light and no heavy machinery is needed on-site. Both factors ensure economical shipment and installation. As for the labour costs, a team of regular workers with only one experienced supervisor is sufficient for the assembly. The installation process is swift and may only take one day for small applications.

Long life span

The steel of HelCor structures is protected against corrosion by hot dip galvanizing. It is a durable and long-lasting material that ensures a lifespan of up to 100 years.

Durability in aggressive environments

The high-strength steel, corrosion protection, and a simple structure all ensure longevity of these tanks. The structures are strong and do not need a load distribution plate. The installation is possible in both low and high temperatures.

Environmentally friendly

CO2 emissions, energy and water consumptions are quite low to produce steel. Steel is also environmentally friendly as it is 100% reusable. If stormwater is collected in the right way, it is also reusable. Finally, the lightness of the steel (in comparison with traditional concrete solutions) means quick installation of the pipes and minimal pollution of the area.

Guaranteed quality

Our expert team is supervising the whole cycle of the project, from planning until full implementation. The solution is implemented according to all technical regulations and high-quality design expectations.

    FAQ’s

This is text that will be here so that it looks nicer. something

How are UltraCor® structures different from other ViaCon bridge solutions?

They are stronger and wider than SuperCor®, Hamco MP200plus®. As opposed to CON/SPAN, they are made of steel and not concrete so they are more ecological and 30-40% more cost-efficient. And unlike Acrow® 700XS®, they are applicable for buried solutions but take a bit longer to install.

Rainwater harvesting for a sustainable future

Rainwater harvesting tanks have become a central component in sustainable water management and environmentally friendly construction technology. These tanks play a crucial role in collecting, storing, and utilizing rainwater to minimize waste, protect the environment, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

A rainwater tank is a container specially designed to collect and store precipitation, particularly rainwater. This technology has grown in popularity in response to increased awareness of water resources and environmental responsibility.

Our rainwater tanks are made of galvanized steel and are available in various sizes to suit different applications.

Rainwater harvesting systems are designed to capture and store rainwater for later use, reducing reliance on municipal water supplies and conserving valuable resources. These systems typically include collection surfaces, such as rooftops or paved areas, gutters or pipes to channel the water, filtration systems to remove debris, and storage tanks to hold the collected rainwater.

Rainwater harvesting tanks come in a variety of shapes and sizes to accommodate different storage needs and space constraints.
